This is a practical down to earth approach to Personal Safety. It encourages Self-Empowerment, increases resilience and raises self-esteem by allowing individuals to recognise and trust their feelings.
It is based on two themes and 7 strategies
We all have the right to feel safe all of the time.
There is nothing so awful, or too small we can talk about with someone.
Children or young people who attend Protective Behaviours sessions would be children who need to build resilience, self-esteem and confidence.
Holistic Therapies
A variety of Holistic Therapies for Adults can be provided which provide a variety of benefits.
Aromatherapy – uses natural plant extracts that are aromatic to improve the health of mind and body.
Reflexology – application of pressure to certain areas in the feet. This facilitates change in the related areas of the body.
Indian Head Massage – massaging acupressure points along head, neck and shoulders.
