Supporting schools and colleges with independent living skills that promote independence for young people with EHCP’s. Either teaching skills to staff or to pupils individually or in groups dependent on need.

Support parents of young people Post-16 with an EHCP
Advising and guiding families in making an EHCP application for all age ranges if they wish to do this independently; having listened and acted upon parental and pupil concerns for pupils and young people with SEN. Giving parents and pupils an understanding to potential barriers to learning.
Supporting Parents through the process of looking for a change of school or adjustments in current setting.
Reviewing draft EHCP’s and supporting parents at co-production and review meetings if other routes are not productive.
Providing guidance for parents with working with local authorities, children’s services and Health and Education Specialists.
Positive behaviour support which gives parents strategies to reduce challenging behaviours.
Provide information on independent living skills for young people with EHCP’s; supporting families in teaching skills that promote independence.
